Turbulence Modelling and CFD application to aerospace propulsion systems, experimental investigation of performance in small gas turbine engines, and design of cansat (mini satellite). Compressible flow, Supersonic inlets, shock wave boundary layer interaction in ramjet intakes, afterburner bluff body aerodynamics, supersonic combustion, CFD. Aircraft systems, Gas turbine engine systems, sub-systems and components and helicopter systems. Aircraft engine systems safety aspects, engine health monitoring, stall characteristics of small gas turbine engines, aero-gas turbine engine turbomachinery performance improvement, film cooling of gas turbine engine hot sections such as combustion chamber liner, turbine blade and vane and also afterburner system components such as V-gutter and liner.
