The Environmental Sustainability Research Cluster investigates how and why innovative engineering practices can advance sustainable development in the built environment. The studies from this cluster will advance the scholarship of sustainable engineering practices within this context. By leveraging both quantitative and qualitative methods, including life cycle assessments, eco-friendly materials development, and environmental impact modelling, this research contributes to greener, more resilient infrastructures that harmonize with ecosystems and promote long-term environmental stewardship.
