The Microelectronics Research Cluster is focused on cutting-edge semiconductor advancements. Research involves GaN-based power semiconductor devices, with emphasis on the effects of irradiation on HEMTs and optocouplers. The team explores renewable energy via nanostructures like nanopillars in CdS/CdTe solar cells. Additional research includes CMOS VLSI, fuzzy logic, embedded systems, and power electronics. In collaboration with industry and academia, this cluster aims to develop future-ready, sustainable technologies in microelectronics.
